The purpose of this website is to present the professional achievements of Nicolas Mourguye, a translator and writer who's worked for the French television dubbing industry for 10 years. So far, he's had the opportunity to hone his skills on diverse genres, including police drama, science-fiction, medical drama, documentary shows and period drama.

For a fan of fiction of all kinds, who enjoys television as much as movie theaters and books, and who was trained in French universities, improv theater groups and English pubs, dubbing is an exciting field of endeavor--hence the enthusiasm, creativity and passion that help Nicolas take on the challenges of his trade. Day after day, he strives to meet the multifold demands of a successful translation, the most important of which are, according to him, respect for the original version, lifelikeness of the dialogue, rhythm and lip-sync of the lines, and coherence with the moving images.
